REBATE, APPLICATION, INSTALLATION, AND PAYMENT PROCESS

1. Starlight Solar Construction does a full analysis and feasibility study of your existing system and presents our recommendations for an energy efficient Solar Hot Water Heating System.


2. Upon acceptance of our proposal Starlight Solar Construction submits a Residential Solar Water Heating Application and Renewable Energy Credit Purchase Agreement, signed by homeowner, to Tucson Electric Power Co.


3. Homeowner signs contract and gives one half of contract price to Starlight Solar Constuction.


4. Starlight Solar Construction obtains permits.


5. TEP approves application and approval letter is sent to homeowner allowing installation process to begin.


6. Starlight Solar Construction completes installation, (usually a 2 day process), and obtains final permit approval from city or county inspector.


7. Homeowner pays Starlight Solar Construction in full once city or county has approved the installation, and signs off on the permit.


8. Starlight Solar Construction submits approved permit from city or county to Tucson Electric Power Co.


9. Tucson Electric Power Co. inspects the system, approves the work and submits final paper work which triggers rebate payment that is mailed directly to homeowners.
